 About the Cover: Though certainly loved by their parents, children during the time of the Gospels were not looked to as role models for spiritual life or the kingdom of heaven. Children are dependent on others for everything. But it is their dependence that Jesus points to as a key component of faith. While recognizing our dependence on the Lord for everything, we see a Savior who welcomes us with open arms into His kingdom, won by His cross and resurrection.
