 About the Cover: A Palm Sunday Gospel reading, which may seem like the wrong text as we enter Advent, points us to the fact that Christ’s arrival means our salvation. Christ’s arrival as a little babe means His taken on of human flesh. Christ’s arrival to His holy city means the cross and resurrection by which He defeated sin and death. Christ’s arrival to us through Word and Sacrament, means we receive the benefits of what He has accomplished. Christ’s arrival on the last day means His completion of all things. Christ has come; Christ will come again.
